Sealing
Depending on the motor type, sealing options may include:
- Option H: on the medium side – mechanical seal, on the motor side – two radial lip seals.
- Option G: two independent mechanical seals.
- Option K: cartridge double mechanical seal.
The mechanical seal materials on both the motor and medium sides are SiC/SiC.
Rubber seals – NBR or Viton.
The seals are located in a chamber filled with biologically degradable vaseline oil. This chamber collects leakages from the medium side through the seal.
We used the following replacements for the mechanical seals: MG1/48-G60-E4 Q1QVGG 6075379 R-MG1 48, SIC/SIC, VITON, 304, G60 and MG97 S10/50-G60 BFF 6081366 R-1577 50, SIC/SIC, VITON, 304, G60.
