Side bottom mixers LR/LM are widely used in both production and storage tanks in the food industry. The main application is the mixing of low viscosity products (wine, oil, beer, alcohol, etc.) in large containers. LM agitators are equipped with electric motors, while LR agitators are driven by geared motors. The agitators are mounted on tanks in an inclined position. The rotation of the rotor creates a flow that directs the product to the bottom of the tank, and then to the surface along the wall opposite the agitator. The curved bottom contributes to this effect. The agitator is mounted in a decentralized manner, which encourages a circular flow. In this way, complete homogenization of the product is achieved.
