FRISTAM centrifugal pumps are available only with open impellers, unsurpassed in terms of hygiene. High-quality alloy steel and massive structural elements with a wall thickness of at least 6 mm guarantee reliable operation of the pumps. The low head pressure required makes it possible to use the pump under unfavorable suction conditions. The low vibration level of FRISTAM FP/FPE pumps ensures a long service life of mechanical seals. In addition, double mechanical seals also allow low vacuum operation and prevent product contamination as well as environmental contamination due to leaks. FRISTAM FP/FPE pumps allow their complete cleaning without dismantling and sterilization. The design principles of FRISTAM FP/FPE pumps guarantee a high level of efficiency: low secondary turbulences and an aerodynamically optimal shape of the discharge channel provide gentle conditions for the pumped medium and reduce its heating to a minimum. Pumped liquids can contain air or gas in small quantities, be homogeneous or contain impurities, and viscosity up to 1200 mPa.s does not present any problems.
