In fact, there is a process of suction of water by a pump, for which it received its characteristic name.
The self-priming pump consists of an electric motor that rotates the impellers and the pump part, where the main mechanisms for lifting water are located. The pump and motor are connected by a coupling, because the design is not monoblock. The seal ensures the tightness and reliability of such a connection.
